Features & Benefits

  • LASSO® EC or simply known as LASSO 384 due to the active ingredient Alachlor is one of the most used pre-emergence residual herbicides
  • It is registered for use on a wide range of crops
  • Provides excellent control of most annual grasses and some important broadleaf weeds if applied according to label recommendations.
  • LASSO is an emulsifiable concentrate residual herbicide registered for use in maize, sweetcorn, groundnuts, soyabeans, sunflower, sorghum (grain and forage; only safened seed), potatoes, pineapples, sugarcane, lupins, and transplanted cabbage, broccoli, paprika and brussels sprouts.
  • LASSO should not be applied to inbred parent plants of maize hybrids, or onto experimental or newly released cultivars or sweetcorn, without first referring to the manufacturer or seed suppliers.
  • LASSO can be used as a single application, split application or in tank mixes with a variety of other herbicides to address a specific weed problem.
  • It is also recommended for use in conservation tillage practices.
  • For the best results always consult the LASSO label.

NOTE: Although this herbicide has been extensively tested under a variety of conditions the registration holder does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the herbicide due to failure of the user to follow label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Also note that the information in this pamphlet does not substitute the recommendations in the registered Lasso EC label.
